National Search Services is looking for aSystem Administrator located in the Orlando area.

Responsibilities:

• Report to the Head of Infrastructure, with the ability to interface with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Help manage internal system capabilities in data management, sharing, and distribution.
• Use individual initiative to assist in the expansion and scalability of current technical infrastructure and environment.
• Work with team members to successfully deploy technically advanced applications into cloud-based environment stack.
• Maintain best practices for technical operations.
• Participate in brain-storming and other idea-generating team sessions.
• Work to continuously develop expertise within key areas of technical operation.

Minimum Requirements:

• 4 years of experience working in a Linux based environment
• Experience with common scripting languages (Bash and Groovy preferred)
• Experience with common editors (Vim or Emacs)
• Experience managing and maintaining web servers (e.g. Nginx, IIS, Tomcat, Apache, Glassfish)
• Working knowledge of SQL Databases and their use
• Understanding of NoSQL Databases and their use
• Experience in DNS Administration (e.g. A, CNAME, MX, TXT)
• Experience in Active Directory Administration
• Proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications including Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
• Maintained departmental quality standards.
• Ability to effectively communicate with peers and supervisors.
• Ability to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
