National Search Services is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst located in the Lake Buena Vista area. This position is a 4-18-month contract.

Description:

• This position reports to an IA Finance Manager in Financial Systems supporting the DLR PMS 2.0 technology project.
• The project will replace the central reservation system functionality of the existing green screen DLR Lodging Management System (LMS).
• This project will result in the implementation of a new system for managing rooms reservations and inventory. A sister project to replace the booking functionality in LMS is already in progress: DLR LMS Replacement.
• This position requires working with internal Controllership/Finance clients, Travel Operations, and Technology to execute testing efforts, identify risks, and ensure finance clients are satisfied with the results enough to implement the system.
• As such, strong organization and communication skills, along with a detailed understanding of accounting theory, will be required as this person will work with multiple finance clients.
• The Senior Financial Analyst will work with the finance clients so that they have the knowledge, training, and reports needed to be fully functional at the time the DLR PMS 2.0 project is initiated.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years work experience with financial or accounting department
• Experience working for large company and within a matrix organization
• Proven “team player” who possesses solid interpersonal and organizational skills
• Basic quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial acumen
• Basic understanding of financial systems, processes and enhancements
• Proven ability to quickly learn complex situations
• Demonstrated multi-tasking skills to manage workload from logistics to strategic efforts, while adhering to deadlines and high quality
• Experience in executing financial systems testing and coordinating with technical teams for defect resolution in a timely manner
• Ability to understand and adapt to different audiences and clients, their needs and potential reactions to ideas and potential issues
• Ability to succinctly convey relevant information (verbally and written) across multiple levels of the organization and confidently project a professional image that fosters relationship building and collaboration
• Ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms
• High energy level; strong work ethic
• Experienced in using the Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)

Preferred:

• This is a testing role; Strong SAP knowledge is strongly preferred
• CPA or CMA license, or equivalent
• PMP or other professional project management certification
• Six Sigma certification
• Experience in using SAP or another ERP
• Experience in using Business Objects reporting tools
