National Search Services is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst located in the Celebration area. This is an 11-month contract.

Description:

• This role will facilitate the definition of business requirements for various efforts within Disney Vacation Club. In addition, the BA will develop acceptance criteria in conjunction with business partners, working with them to define the stories resulting in a clearer, more detailed and more complete understanding of project deliverables. They will help orchestrate backlog refinements, creating epics, features, and user stories (technical, functional and reporting). Guide the development teams to break down large and complex user stories into simplified versions for execution. Assist design, documentation and maintenance of system processes. Follow/track and report on defects, identify and/or remove impediments. Communicate key insights and findings to project team.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Business Admin
• 5+ years’ experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of agile methodology.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Ability to define epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong partnering skills.
• Proven experience in eliciting requirements and acceptance criteria in large implementation agile projects.
• Strong business process analysis skills. Knowledge of software testing procedures.

Preferred:

• Six Sigma Certification
• Knowledge of timeshare industry is a plus.
