National Search Services is looking for an IT Project Manager located in the Lake Buena Vista area. This is a 5 month contract.

Location and Pay Range:

• 32830
• $70-$78 /hr

Description:

• Provides oversight, leadership, and manages overall execution for the program teams within the overall Core program
• Coordinates with cross-functional work stream Program Managers to ensure handoffs and that the quality of deliverables for the program team are to program standards
• Manages relationships at the program level and beyond
• Manages project interdependencies, critical path, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation and rollout within the program team
• Reports on program level status for the program team
• Provides value-added leadership; such as execution approach and strategy
• Ensures program delivery of the program teams is on time, within constraints, and high quality
• Identifies and supports key program objectives, risks, and drivers and creates plans to manage these elements
• Identifies scope change and leads efforts to develop, estimate, and communicate budget and schedule impacts
• Manages project management resources, forecasting, and communicating resources requirements to ensure all planned and budgeted projects have resources available
• Closely monitors the project managers’ time commitments to ensure availability is leveraged and over-allocation is minimized.

Requirements:

• Business and Technical Program Management
• Ability to drive and improve digital delivery initiative
• Formalization of the projects, alignment of execs, reporting
• Strong experience working with executives
• Familiar with digital content – familiar with context
• Pragmatic, personable with very clear and efficient communication style
• Experience leading large-scale business transformational projects with numerous up/downstream system integrations
• Waterfall, Software Package Implementation, as well as Agile (Vendor) Methodologies
• Strong Microsoft Project 2010 experience, including baselining and tracking performance to plan
• Vendor/Contract Management experience: Managing multiple vendors and internal resources across work streams simultaneously
• Managing onshore/offshore resources
• Strong technology background (requirements, development, application management, maintenance, operations) a plus
• Strong technology implementation background a plus.
• Experience with media companies and/or large corp experience would be great
